What a remodel can cover
Deck resurfacing
Tired, cracked or failing pool decking stripped back and resurfaced, right up to the coping.
Waterline tile and coping
Replacing the tile band and coping, which is the change that makes the biggest visual difference for the least disruption.
Equipment pad modernisation
Older pumps, filters and heaters replaced with current equipment, and the plumbing tidied while the pad is open.
Salt and automation upgrades
Converting how the pool is sanitised and controlled as part of a wider refresh rather than as a separate visit.
Lighting
Older fixtures swapped for LED, usually alongside other work while the water is already down.
Everything except building new
We work on pools that already exist. New pool construction is the one thing we do not take on.
Scope first, number second
Remodeling covers a wide range, from a tile and coping refresh over a few days to a staged programme of deck, surface and equipment work. What yours involves depends on which parts of the pool have actually reached the end of their life, and that is worth establishing before anyone quotes a number.
The practical reason to bundle this work: most of it needs the water level down or the equipment pad open. Doing tile, lighting and equipment in one visit costs far less than three visits months apart.

Frequently asked questions
Do you build new pools?
No. New pool construction is the one pool job we do not do. Everything else on an existing pool is on the table.
How much does a remodel cost?
Too broad to answer honestly on a web page, because a tile refresh and a full deck and surface programme are different orders of magnitude. We would rather look at the pool and give you a real number.
Can you do part of it now and part later?
Yes, and often that is the sensible route. We will tell you which pieces genuinely need doing together because of water level or access, and which can wait.
How long will my pool be out of use?
It depends entirely on scope. A tile and coping job is short. Anything involving the interior surface has cure times that cannot be rushed. You will get a realistic window before we start.
Will you tell me if something does not need doing?
Yes. That is most of what our reviews are about, and it is a better way to run a business than selling someone a surface that had five good years left in it.
