Conversions, cell replacement and the faults that make a salt system quietly stop producing chlorine while everything looks normal from the deck.
Salt system work across the Dallas-Fort Worth area|4.8 stars from 45 Google reviews
A salt chlorine generator fitted to the pool you already have, matched to its volume and existing equipment.
The generator cell scales up over time and stops producing. We clean them, and replace them when cleaning stops working.
Salt too low and it stops making chlorine, too high and it alarms. We get it into range and keep the rest of the chemistry with it.
A system reading "no flow", "check cell" or simply producing nothing, traced to the actual cause rather than swapped on a guess.
The electronics that drive the cell fail too, and that is a different repair from the cell itself.
Larger installations on HOA and apartment pools, where an underperforming cell becomes a compliance problem quickly.
A salt pool is still a chlorine pool. The system makes chlorine from salt on site instead of you carrying it in, which most owners find easier to live with and gentler to swim in.
What it is not is maintenance free. The cell scales, the salt level drifts, and the controller can fail while everything looks fine from the deck. Most of the salt system calls we get are pools that were converted and then left alone.

Extremely honest, educational, and more than reasonably priced.
Andrew and Josh provided rapid, professional solutions to checking pump pressure and eventually pump replacement. I am a loyal customer for life.
He gave me honest advice when I tried to prime my old pump, and tried to save me money.
Ultimately it had to be replaced. He installed a new variable-speed pump with a three-year warranty, programmed the app for me and showed me how to use it. Now everything works great.
Almost always. The generator is plumbed into the return line and wired to a controller, so it works with most existing equipment pads. We will confirm compatibility before quoting.
It makes its own, so you are not adding chlorine by hand. You still need to test the water, keep the salt in range and shock it occasionally.
Several years is typical, and how you run it matters more than the brand. When output drops and a clean does not bring it back, the cell is done.
The concentration is low, far below sea water. The usual caution is around natural stone coping and certain metal fittings, and we will flag it if your pool has something worth protecting.
Salt readings lag after an addition, and a scaled cell also reports low salt when the salt is fine. That distinction is worth getting right before you buy more bags.
